Pastured Poultry
Healthy Chickens. We raise our broilers from 1-day old chicks to the date we process them for pick-up at the farm. We provide fresh, foraging, healthy chickens. Their feed is specially ordered so that there are no antibiotics and no growth hormones. We use only water and no chloirine when cleaning the chickens.
How to Pre-Order. We take advance orders for whole dressed chickens which are sold every 8 - 10 weeks. We require a $5 deposit for each chicken at the time of the order, with $10 due on the date of pick-up. You may place your order at our booth at farmers markets or by e-mail to brayfamilyfarms@yahoo.com.
Pick Up at the Farm. Customers who have pre-ordered will be contacted with a reminder and instructions prior to the processing date. On the day of pick-up, customers may also purchase parts such as necks, feet, livers, gizzards, and hearts for $2.50/lb.
