Pastured Poultry
Healthy Chickens. We raise our broilers from 1-day old chicks to the date we process them for pick-up. We provide fresh, foraging, non-chlorinated, healthy chickens. Their feed is specially ordered so that there are NO trace antibiotics.
How to Pre-Order. We take advance orders for whole dressed chickens which are sold every 10-12 weeks. We require a $5 deposit for each chicken at the time of the order, with $10 due on the date of pick-up. You may place your order at our booth at farmers markets, by calling us at 770-943-3618 or by e-mail to brayfamilyfarms@yahoo.com.
Pick Up at the Farm. Customers who have pre-ordered will be contacted with a reminder prior to that date. On the day of pick-up, customers may also purchase parts such as necks, feet, livers, gizzards, and hearts for $2.50/lb.
FLOOD UPDATE: We lost all of our broiler chicks in the flood of September 21, 2009. We are currently unable to put another flock in the chicken tractors until the pasture recovers. As soon as we are able to start a new flock and schedule a new processing date, we will make this information known. This will probably be in the spring, 2010. Thank you for your continued support through our recovery time.
